BOSCO EVENT

Hosted by the JUMP Center

Third Annual Art As Song, Song As Art Idaho Songwriters Collaboration

Sept. 5th – Oct. 31st – JUMP Center. This event features two dynamic exhibitions: one at the Riverside Hotel and another at JUMP.

“Art as Song, Song as Art” is an interactive experience that brings together local artists and songwriters to create original works of art inspired by music, and vice versa. Attendees will be able to explore a variety of visual artworks each accompanied by a QR code linking to the music that inspired it. Simply scan the code with your smartphone to listen to the song that inspired the artwork or was inspired by the artwork.

This collaboration culminates in two separate events: an opening reception followed by a month long exhibition at The Riverside Hotel and then another one night event at JUMP. Each of these will feature live musical performances of the songs created specifically for this collaboration. Experience the creative process firsthand as local musicians share their work in an intimate, inspiring setting at The Riverside and then on stage at JUMP.

This all-ages event is free to attend, making it the perfect opportunity for families, art lovers, and music enthusiasts alike to experience the innovative collaboration between local artists and songwriters. Whether you’re a long-time art aficionado or someone just looking for a fun evening out, “Art as Song, Song as Art” promises something for everyone.
